What can one say…possible no words exist to discribe this band………No really just seen two performances at the Lincolnshire Sausage Festival and they are excellent musicians and entertainers and all round nice chaps and lass. Interacted with everyone, especially an older lady with birthday and made it a real party. These guys are professional

What a fantastic group of talented individuals! They just don’t stop giving. Worth every penny and more! We had such a great party with them as our entertainment – the villagers are still talking about the best party ever. Thank you peeps, we love you!

We booked the Cosmic Sausages because we did not want a disco or an electric band playing too loud for conversation at a Family/Friends event where people who had not seen each other for some time wanted to catch up. What we got was fantastic fun that captured everybody, making the party go with a swing and a smile. Brilliant 5*

Saw you guys perform twice in Budapest in 1991 then ran into you on a bus one night. Laughed a lot and really enjoyed the music. STILL waiting for you to get over the pond to the U.S. Trust me, all the hard feelings from the Revolution are over and it would be great to see you guys over here!

You played at our camp fire in Glastonbury (1992, I think).

Outstanding entertainment for a midsummer’s day wedding in a field at ‘a secret location’ in Dorset. My personal highlight was the complete Boh Rhap (because I requested it), and I won’t forget slide mandolin with a full bottle of Corbières. Everyone loved the Cosmic Sausages. A sizzling performance, for which many thanks!

Saw you in Curry Mallet last night, my first experience of your unique blend of music and humour but won’t be my last. I was the designated driver but enjoyed myself as much as my boozing friends. Had a great evening with lots of laughter, what more could you ask?

So tell me how do you even know that you want these guys for something that you won’t have even considered in the first place? How do you know your doing the right thing for what will be one of the most important days of your life? Because if they are not right its a big thing to get wrong especially at your wedding!?
Answer: You don’t know but you just go out on a limb and book them, book them NOW! and don’t worry about it, because everyone in that room will love you for it. Who gets a buskers band to do your wedding song, your champagne reception and serenade your tables during the meal. We did and its the best money we ever spent throughout the wedding affair. I can’t wait to have some excuse to get these guys back again. Suitable for all people who want their inner child extracting out of them!!!
Well done guys.

This is my claim to fame.
I first heard of you when I was working as backstage security at Glastonbury in the late 90’s. I was working the gate when 3 people approached. A man asked to come in to speak with The Cosmic Sausages (sorry but I laughed). I radioed the office and you guys hadn’t checked in yet. I passed on the info when a lady that was with them announced that this was Glen Tilbrook of Squeeze and she was his agent. I like Squeeze but this woman’s attitude led me to make the unfortunate decision to deny them entry. Sorry Cosmic Sausages…..I hope he wasn’t too mad!

Sausages ahoy! Mad mad doolally bunch. I bought the ‘best of’ album last year when the CS’s visited Lincoln’s sausage fest and have sung along like a lune ever since. Was very very excited to see you perform there again this year and was not disappointed especially when you picked my usually quiet fiance to play the part of James Brown. Will never let him live that one down mwaa haa ha! Would love to get my hands on your other CD and tapes too – could you send me details of how? I have even used your music to inspire my Saturday morning chidren’s drama class with great sucess (all asked for Bob the Builder to which I obliged forgetting Sir George calls Bob a ‘bloody imbecile’) Look forward to seeing you again and possibly booking you for a wedding! Fingers crossed eh? Loads of Love from me x

Seen you in Berne, Switzerland at Buskers festival beginning of August. Everybody in our family was enthusiastic. Bought a CD and since our youngest son, Leandro (2 1/2), has his one and only favourite song – Fallera (The Swedish Song). Leandro likes very much to dance to this song and ends up making a bow (“linchino” in italian)
The CD is nearly broke yet but thanks to iTunes you can always make a new copy…
So if you ever return to Berne please let us know. We’ll be there too.
Greetings, Ueli

Hi Guys, I just want to say thank you for playing at our wedding on 31st Oct. Many of our guests commented you were the best wedding entertainment they have ever seen and some have even been heard to say it was the best wedding they have been to, so thanks for contributing to that and making our day extra special. It certainly gave us lots to talk about whilst we were on honeymoon and we are slowly getting through photos, so any good ones will be uploaded onto your site for you. Thanks again. You rocked!!

Hahahahah Brilliant!!!! We haven’t had such a laugh for ages!!!!
I was “James Brown” and James Brown now says that his hands still hurt from banging the table and clapping so much.
You’ll have to come back to Winterbourne StR(?)ickland as Greta missed my first time on stage as she couldn’t see for the tears of laughter in her eyes!!!
We all loved the show, and James has already played the CD all the way through!
Thanks for a great evening, you lot really lit up a dark and wet January night.

I consider myself lucky to happen upon such a talented band. When one enjoys what they do, they do it as well as the Cosmic Sausages. My 6 kids always want me to pop in the Great Hits CD when we get into our van.

I never saw the band in person, but they musically paint a technicolor picture for one’s mind.

I am looking forward to getting A Fistful of Sausages! If I ever get over to London again… Yes, I’m a Bloody Yank.

Hi Sausages,
I met your band in the BUSKER S FESTIVAL of FERRARA, ITALY.
I took nice pictures with you, and you gave me your contacts to send you the pictures.
Thank you very much for your fantastic and very humouristic way by which you show your talented and aristic skills near IL CASTELLO di FERRARA. Really I am a new comer here to Ferrara and I was so sad and with no friends, so your show warmed me and made me for the first time here in Italy to laugh and with tears, not tears of crocodile …..real tears so thanks again for the whole band, and I hope to see you again.

We stumbled across the Sausages around 2:30 am Sunday morning on our way to the Stone Circle during a rendition of ‘Tie Me Kangaroo Down’ that Rolf himself would’ve been proud of!
It was one of our group that instigated ‘You Are My Sunshine’ – tried for ‘The Frog Chorus’ but you weren’t up for it!
Stumbled off again at 5 am…
The best performance I saw all weekend!
Will definitely come and find you again next time!

Seeing the Cosmic Sausages was one of the highlights of this years Glastonbury Festival for me. Hearing them on the early hours of Sunday morning with a crowd doing the Hokey Pokey to me joing in doing the Time Warp. Was such a laugh and couldn’t believe I was there to the end when they finished at 7am. Thank You very much, hope to see you around soon.

Dear Sausages.
Around about 5 or so years ago I was stumbling back to my tent in the early morning of Glastonbury festival, I found a little Gem which captivated me with it’s brilliance. Somewhere near the crossroads of the railway track and the path to the stone circle was a brightly coloured quartet playing wonderful music which kept me captivated way past my bed time (6.30amish???). It has always been one of my most favourite glastonbury moments ever and is a treasured memory.

Imagine my delight on Sunday morning just gone (when I had survived Iggy Pop’s stage invasion, a night of lavish debauchery in Lost Vagueness and found myself prancing around in the New York Gay Disco til the sun had well and truly come up..)to walk home again towards my tent in the drizzle and Lo and Behold, here are my beloved tune meisters, causing havoc by playing “Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes” with 30 grown adults laughing their danglies off in a tight semi circle around them.

I was caught captivated there for what must have been an hour by pure musical entertainment genius providing me with another genuine Glastonbury Moment.

When I finally decided to head back to my tent a tired tired little bunny I was shocked to find 2 pairs of wellies sticking out of my tent and giggling from inside.. no I didnt know them and yes they were doing what we think…

You have a secure little place in my heart forever.

Sheridan

Seen cosmic sausages lots of times over the years. Pilton Festival, the Bell in Bath and one amazing party was a place called the ‘Riverdance Club’ which is now an Indian restaurant. Hey folks. I´ve just been invited to Ferrara, and I wanted to know what your experiences there have been – tell me ALL! – I think we crossed paths a few years ago at the ill-fated Novara festival – was it as bad for you as it was for me? I look forward to hearing all you have to say about FERRARA! Shalom,Alex Jacobowitz .

I saw you late at Glastonbury. You really made me laugh, particularly the bloke that played guitar! I don’t know if he realised that his willy was hanging out of the bottom of his shorts. Me and my cousin still have a giggle when we think about it. We would like to by a cd in the hope that with the proceeds he will be able to afford some pants

Perhaps you remember me, I think it was Simon, (I’m terrible with names) gave me a lift when I was hitch-hiking along the M4 in August. When I got out to my astonishment I was presented a CD. I brought it back to New Zealand with me, and sent it on to my friend (who sings a bit herself) who’s teaching at a primary school on the West Coast – here’s what she said -‘the C.D. you sent is great fun…..

Thank you SO much – not sure about being singled out though, don’t think my double bass playing is quite up to your standard!!
